If you are #trans and a US citizen, you should absolutely, 100% apply for a passport this year, whether you plan to travel or not. Yes, it costs $$, but you can self-select your gender without bureaucratic BS (thanks, Joe), and it lasts 10 years and is valid ID everywhere in the world. Whatever fascist laws your GOP reps are proposing in your state legislature about gender markers on IDs, you will have a federal document that reflects your actual gender. And if necessary, you can use it to leave the country.

That's awesome! When you have it written up, make sure and create an issue on https://github.com/CraftComputing/ProjectAxeEffect. I can add it to our documentation.

We are developing the PoE version right now, and it sounds like we'll be supporting passive AND active PoE profiles.

The beta is actually based on an RP2040, not Arduino.

Right now, the focus is 100% SNMP, but we're actively exploring MQTT and Prometheus integrations. Those won't be available at launch, but we're hoping to add them via firmware update in the future.

@jameshubbard Our PoE version that's currently in development is 100% going to have a water contact sensor.

@cdp1337 Late reply, but I'm here ๐Ÿ˜„

It looks like we're going to be able to support Active PoE. Still waiting for confirmation from my dev, but early testing has gone well.

I now have an IANA number, and can develop my own MIB/OID trees. I'm going to work with SNMP monitor developers to integrate my OIDs into their apps natively, though that's entirely on them if it happens or not.

I tried a couple small electric drivers, and they didn't have enough torque to cut threads reliably ๐Ÿ˜ž
