It should be "wiki/poll" find a topic, swap in the argument you like best by vote, support comment, thumbs up, and build a knoledge tree that reads like wiki as Option 1, the "dive in" to what all of social conversation has to offer. Or Option 2, "notifications" basically, anyone that interacted with you while you were away, should be your #1 priority to respond to. And fucking Fedi even hides if someone commented on your re-share... I WANT TO KNOW, and your FEs suck balls...
Problem 2) Hellthreads. Love/Hate. We know there is no inbetween, and it's a fatal flaw, bug, in the FE. They make load time of ANYTHING a fucking nightmear, and totally highlight WHY that is the wrong approch.
So, Prob 2 goes back to related bug in 1, why are you even loading it THAT way, load the interaction, then spider out the database for top to comments, top two quote (superior comemnt), and display 5 options that are expandable in parellels, interactions, not spam "threaded timelines" are you insane, that's the dumbest way to search for interesting information related to a post, it won't load a hell thread, because hell threads are created by logic bombs, fragmentaiton of discussion, duh, are you fucking ... have you never talked to people at a party? YOu SERIOUSLY want to line up all the things everyone in the room says IN TIME ORDER to hear with equal volume? Talk about destroying interaction and CPU resource... DUMB.
BTW: Pilled Whitepaper, TOTALLY open to comments or throwing a couple bucks (not a lot, something though) at anyone willing to flesh it out, I literally bearly have time to shitpost to blow off steam from work and sleep, but I will do what I can when I can, it's on my list for this weekend... https://git.pleroma.social/coyote/pilled

Ouch, I completely forgot that laser hardens. I am usually buying from SendCutSend using their cheapest steel, which does not harden as much. I was just about ready to move on to more premium materials.
