my first DeLillo novel has come to an end. It's pretty much a perfect novel, and I think, probably the closest to accurate theory on the JFK assassination.

I have a hard time recommending The Prague Cemetary. I do think it is his best. I once heard it was written as a parody of Forrest Gump, and I see it, but it is pitch black in terms of comedy.
The Island of the Day Before is incredible, and thankfully, fairly lightweight thematically, so works as a pallete cleanser if you read Prague Cemetary first.
