This is the correct model. America developed very similarly, unlike parts of Eurasia which is why Europe and Asia are definitely culturally distinct, but America isn‘t. At least not for a lot of us.

There is no need to curb billionaire‘s power if you simply curb billionaires.
They‘ve been doing a lot of research on mental health due to their long and dark Winters. I bet people would be happier everywhere if we put a higher priority on happiness. It‘s not a metric billion dollar companies seem to value.
Generally it‘s probably not a good idea to tie this to a single metric but religion could be a part of it. I would guess a strong social state is the bigger factor however. Perhaps all these things go hand in hand.
