More of my little huayinlian vampire au:
Xie Lian with his circulation disorder often gets very cold. Hua Cheng is sad that he can't cuddle him to give him his body heat, but he has two solutions. One: drink from Yin Yu them immediately cuddle Xie Lian while his body temp is up. And two: when he's away from the manor he orders Yin Yu to keep Xie Lian warm for him.
Yin Yu is shy at first, but Xie Lian says that if he can just help him get his hands warm then they won't be in so much pain. Yin Yu sits there, holding his hands and gently massaging them to encourage circulation.
Xie Lian eventually coaxes him into wrapping his arms around him. Xie Lian is so excited to get Yin Yu to be more comfortable around him, like a feral cat he's been giving treats.
Meanwhile Yin Yu is under the mistaken impression that Hua Cheng will get mad at him for having a crush on his super sexy vampire hunter boyfriend. He's caught between a powerful vampire king and his kind and gentle and badass hunter bf.
Little does he know how much they want him back hehe

Actually, these things can go hand in hand. Hua Cheng grabs Yin Yu and starts sensually sucking his blood right in front of Xie Lian.
Xie Lian shivering with fear and fascination. Hua Cheng asking is Xie Lian is afraid, if he truly is a disgusting beast to him.
Xie Lian coming closer, cradling Hua Cheng's face, reassuring him that it's only natural. It's not his fault. Xie Lian knows he can't help it.
Yin Yu sandwiched between them, high on vampire venom and extremely flustered at the sexy vampire on one side and the sexy vampire hunter on the other.
I have more. Yin Yu is Hua Cheng's "thrall" and Xie Lian immediately asks him if he needs help escaping. To which Yin Yu tells him that actually being Hua Cheng's personal blood bag/servant is way better than the soul-sucking corporate job he was doing before. And whenever Hua Cheng feeds off of him he always uses his venom to make it painless and gives Yin Yu a long break from work after.
Hua Cheng is also desperately horny about wanting to drink from Xie Lian, but holding himself back so he doesn't hurt him. And then Xie Lian walks around his manor in the loose-fitting clothes he's borrowing, neck on display. Hua Cheng has to grit his fangs and bear it lol

Xie Lian steps into the Great Martial Hall. Silver tinkles around his ankles and chest. The hall goes quiet.
"What are you /wearing?/" Feng Xin finally bursts out. "You nearly gave us a heart attack!"
Xie Lian laughs nervously. "My clothes, um, needed to be mended," he says, scratching his nose. A silver butterfly flits out from one of his vambraces, landing on the tip of a finger. He laughs again, this time lighter, cooing at the little thing. "Aren't you cute!"
Silence again.
"Cute?!" Mu Qing says, scooting a couple inches further into the hall.
"Yes, look!" Xie Lian says, holding out his hand with a grin. The whole of heaven flinches back.
In Paradise Manor, watching through the butterfly's eyes, Hua Cheng chuckles. "Maybe next time they'll think twice about wasting His Highness's time," he says, and flops back onto the bed. "Hurry back, gege."
