Darwin stuff. Curator of things from the future. More Darwin stuff.
@joelbaker #CanMNT Kone BANGER! BANG-----GER!!!!
@glmontreal_mirror this is terrible! It's so iconic for the city and the country, be very interesting to know how it can seem so successful yet economically not actually be able to carry the load.
@Ulrich_the_Elder @paulbusch there's a ritual for you right there
@paulbusch Temagami Dry! Look at that I had no idea, brilliant.
@paulbusch I've never been a pop guy, and never buy pop as a weekly grocery default, but to this day a Canada Dry is a go-to when I'm eating certain food or at certain occasions - always Canada Dry.
@jikodesu sadly this always seemed inevitable since 1997, it was just a matter of when - I'd always hoped I was wrong
@newsie democracy is healthy, alive and thriving in Russia!
@notjustbikes I've been travelling over the past number of years and while I agree there are gripes, Canada is far from a backwater. I found oddities in Europe and Japan easily either far oversold (tech in Japan is hardly as 100% cutting edge as pop culture makes it seem), and European rail options were not nearly as universally connected as pop culture makes it seem.
In both places I ended up needing to do pretty much exactly what I'd do in Canada to move, talk, travel. With costs being cheaper here and higher there ending up being a wash
@MeanwhileinCanada I thought this was just default now since covid. Meetings, holidays, weddings, business lunches ---- all classed by which PJ's that are most appropriate
@RM_Transit it's the cake smash party for wayfind-makers. Alternate theory: they were loaded when they approved it.
