Mastodon will soon begin offering managed hosting and support services for organizations
Here’s a TechCrunch article on the topic too [https://techcrunch.com/2025/09/19/mastodon-has-a-new-plan-to-make-money-hosting-and-support-services-for-the-open-social-web/]. First of all I love this idea, especially for nonprofits, universities and governments. My biggest question is how moderation will work. Pretty freaky article, and it doesn’t surprise me that chatbots could have this effect on some people more vulnerable to this sort of delusional thinking.
