Just some honest talk on here tonight.
We loose so many young people to mental health. I hope that by sharing my story in a professional setting can help a few of you here tonight.

In 2011 I almost lost my life I was struggling & I went to a friends party and was hospitalised after having a traumatic episode linked to PTSD that I suffered in 2000 when as an 8 year old I witnessed a fatal accident that killed my classmate.

I was badly injured in an accident. This led to me spending a number of days in hospital.

Throughout the years I wear my mental health and trauma as something that can never be cured but by understanding and learning more about how to live with this weight I have been able to achieve incredible things. Yet I still have the feeling that it’s never enough.

So today I share this with you that you grow & know you’re loved and today’s purpose is to inspire connect and discover and sometimes that discovery is within so you can learn to love others who need it. #mentalhealth #trauma #people

I have purpose in packing a box of things for people I don’t know for communities I love that I have never been too. For people I inspire who I haven’t met yet. This had become therapy for me i am not perfect and i don't attempt to be but i am human before all else.

Whilst i am on a journey to become a father that I never had & to be a better friend husband brother and son.

We must support Blak men and women not just for today but for tomorrow. Don't suffer in silence

Was so great to be back in the NT meeting more Deadly scientists and more determined than ever to be there for our mobs and for our communities leading with my actions rather than tweets or toot's. Together we can create change and help young people find their passions and purpose. It's important we support all orgs doing grassroots work not just DeadlyScience.
My trip from Brisbane-Darwin-Canberra-Sydney in a week is over i had an absolute blast thank you for all the mob i caught up with and family for bringing the laughs smiles and just love.
