I just discovered and was very impressed by this ARM-native Mac emulator for the PlayStation 2: https://www.aethersx2.com/archive/

Worked great with the two games I tried (Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, of course), running both in 4K and max (game-limited, I assume) frame rates on an M1 Max.

So I've been secretly in a cold war with some weird crypto bros for like 6 months now, and worryingly in the last couple days it's looking like they've won. @gruber @ryuworks @glaurent @icecubesapp People like to blame finance guys for the general drift towards subscription software, but I have to imagine Apple refusing to permit traditional upgrade pricing is just as relevant.
