Robert ReichIt’s been 13 years since we raised the federal minimum wage to $7.25 an hour. That’s the longest period without a raise in the history of the minimum wage. That is egregious.

@UnionRebelMs welcome, it's a work in progress but definitely better than the other one.
@mindsquint @rbreich I definitely agree with you, a long time friend recently tried to advise me that unions aren't necessary these days but I see how the lack has lead to the erosion of the 40 work week. Yet there's still wage theft, gender discrimination and other such things.
Periodic reminder: free snacks, beer kegs, and ping pong tables are not real perks.

@MLS_Dave I can see this happening due to the lack of medical insurance for all and the lasting effects of covid.
@rbreich I think it's worse when you get charged for printing your ticket at home. How is that possible that's like being charged at the grocery store for bringing your own bag.
