It seems I was too generous in my earlier comments on the fusion “breakthrough”. The lasers they were using are extremely inefficient, and can’t be used to do multiple shots in succession. They are a very very very very long way from a practical power source. #greentech #fusion #climate #energy

@ExeterDormouse I never got the syntax right when I was taught it at school, e.g. Welsh: the house that is red rather than English: the red house.
