I've received 5 VC offers "to chat" regarding Pixelfed in the past few days.

Not for sale.

Pixelfed belongs to the people.

I'd rather be broke and true to my beliefs, than sell out.

That's why I'm organizing a Kickstarter to fund the ethical development of Pixelfed, Loops and more.

It's time that someone stood up to them, instead of joining them.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens to the video game industry in lew of the ban on Chinese owned companies. Tencent, a Chinese owned company, has a huge stake in the industry owning 40% of #fortnite a large percentage of #COD and a plethora of other #games. People seem to think that because it's partial ownership that it won't affect the games which Tencent has a stake in which isn't true. Tiktok is proof being largely owned by US investors with bytedance (China) owning a small %.
