@lethalbit agreed completely. Some managers still like them which means it’s still important to write them. I will say recruiters definitely don’t read them since they are often going through thousands of applications but a hiring manager might since the recruiters send them only candidates that are qualified or stand out.

You can use chatgpt to write the bulk of them :) I’ll be writing a blog post on ethical use of AI for job applications in the next couple weeks if you’re interested!
