It just boiled down to either post a picture or curl up and cry, so yes, I chose to post one.
You've all been too inspirational to dismiss it.
Years of food stimming grew my tummy to this size. I had lost quite some weight last year but might have gained all of it again over the past two months tbh.
The red parts are an inflammatory skin condition (psoriasis)
I know last years big meme was the letter a
I know people still use it.
But did we ever take the next logical step?
I own a road map now. Was able to see how much my sense of direction has been erring last wednesday (before purchase of aforementioned map) when I went exploring on the eastern side of the town. Instead of scouting a way to a place to the south-east, I went directly east, confusing a highway for another I'd have needed to follow but wanted to avoid to stick too close to for the nervewracking noise.
However, at least I was always aware of how to get back home. At some point I made the decision to just head where my feet take me, had a lovely day out and traveled quite far (for my standards, I guess) even if I overdid it exactly as much as my body could still currently handle. Really wishing I could recreate my way on the map more accurately to calculate the distance I walked, but at least I now know my limit in hours.
I also found the compass I've owned for years and never needed. During all that time I knew exactly where it was, until three or so months ago when I dispersed a box full of miscallenous stuff. It took me a good while of clueless searching until it dawned on me: a compass is a tool! So that's where I put it. Into the tool drawer. So I'd /remember/. Hahahhh.. hah.
Well, anyway...
Have some walk pictures.
It feels so good to be acknowledged! 😸😸😸
The picture depicts a message I got, consisting of a photo of a black, awkwardly bent black housecat, seemingly grinning. Below a message saying the poster instantly immediately thought of me upon seeing this. (There's also hearts emojis and such)
Hmmyes, my miles away love sure knows who he fell for! (Really made my day...)
