I write, make, draw, play, game, and do handsome faces. I made Hive Time. Currently making Fossil Sweeper (a game about digging up fossils), Winter's Wake & Icicle (and a stack of side things).

If I appear to have boosted or engaged with LLM slop, please let me know. Obviously I do my best to avoid it, but douchecanoes are actively working to make that harder.

#nobridge should not be necessary -_-

OK, maybe everything's not so bad. I hit the Shapes motherload
Playing around with more avatar stuff (this is temp/exploratory stuff for possible museum NPCs - still not committed to that)

This week's #Blendsday prompt is "path." I modelled this cliffside trail.

I remain uncomfortable with the current situation/lack of progress regarding the Blender Foundation's Funding Policy and AI Policy following accepting money from Athropic, and feel a need to acknowledge that when sharing stuff that promotes Blender.

I've been holding off on shipping new test builds of Fossil Sweeper while I focus on chipping away at nailing down globe workflow stuff - I don't want to put out builds with half-finished or broken globe assets, so there's sort of nothing to show while I'm testing and experimenting.

Over the past week or so, I fixed a couple of long-standing avatar pathing bugs though, and that felt like it was worth getting new test builds out the door for. I'll miss that little guy spinning on the spot though

I had fun doing these little scribbles of some famous fossils - initially I was planning to do some more elaborate, polished paintings, but my first placeholder sketch had this cool energy, so I decided to do them all like this

Time for another Fossil Sweeper progress update post! (nearly published the May post in May this time \o/ )

During the period covered, I continued to work on globe asset production workflows, and I tested an alternate presentation for some Dig sites.

This week's #Blendsday prompt is "blue." I experimented with using animation to drive a pottery wheel type workflow. Couldn't get anything working for texture painting, but I did get a rudimentary setup happening for sculpting.

And some more
