Following Trump’s state visit, Keir Starmer is finally moving towards recognising Palestinian statehood. This is generally quite unexpected considering Keir’s stance on Israel, his weapons donations, the fact he himself is a zionist, and him declaring Palestine Action, the group of peaceful protesters a terrorist organisation. Deputy PM David Lammy, has said “It will not change the position on the ground.” presumably meaning this will not change their stance on Israel. This does mean however the Palestinian Authority is due to get their official embassy. This makes a total of 140 countries officially recognising Palestinian Statehood.

If you have your own mail server and view your mail locally on a client like thunderbird, you can’t really view your mail on any machine in which you don’t want to be installing an email client on or one that isn’t yours. Are there any self-hosted webmail options in which you can log into your email on any machine without using a 3rd party service?

Is there an option for online navigation? - Lemmy.World

I noticed that on OSMand there’s an option which lets you use online navigation, which lets you avoid using up storage space, I think this is particularly useful on a 1-time journey, either long-distance or in an area you won’t visit again. You’d also be able to get real-time travel info like public transport times and the quickest routes, granted not as good as google’s harvested data, but still something that could be useful.
