They/them. Proudly and loudly queer

Aspiring #poet. I write poems about the small moments that add up to a life. Still working up the courage to share my poems more frequently.

I would like to post about writing, but I mostly just post about being queer. Occasional nsfw posts and rants about life. Will flirt back if someone flirts with me.

I've been writing poetry for a few years, but I've always been really reluctant to share my poems with others. I decided that this year I am going to try to change that, so today I took part in a poetry slam for the first time, and it was very scary but I'm also so glad I did it 😄

Lately I've been playing around with some word prompts to try to write more. I sort of cheated with this one by not actually using the word, but I like how it turned out.

Prompt: square

Wanting to fit in
But my edges are too rough
To fit with circles

This morning while attempting to walk on a very icy path I came up with a silly little song that made me laugh. Add whatever tune you think fits best:
🎶 Walking like a penguin
waddling around
can't lift up my feet
or I'll fall down.

Demisexual sluts of the world unite!

(Once we know each other, of course 🥺)

I love it when girls
I finally managed to find time to run away to my favourite writing spot for a few hours and I wrote down the two poems that have been buzzing in my mind for a while. Feels like a successful writing day! #writing #poetry
I'm currently stuck in a loop of using work stress to avoid thinking about problems in my personal life, and using my personal life problems to avoid thinking about work stress.
The first rule of gender is that there is no gender
Woman: *exists*
Me: 😍
On the plus side, this latest crush got rid of my writer's block. And now I feel like a teenager writing a poem about a person who smiled at me 😅
