I am actually so pissed about the Graven situation. Didn't mind the game at all, but sticking a launcher in it after years of no updates? You can fuck right off. They did it to Wrath: Aeons of Ruin too, stick a near-nandatory launcher with the Steam version. That game can piss off to.
@newt I got a Samson CO1UPRO USB Condenser microphone and generic pop filter. It works for me. Hinge that allows the microphone to turn is a bit loose but other than it's good. (unsure if its a budget mic or not tho)
@newt By studio I should probably have specified "got a better mic + pop filter that sits on my standing desk". I don't have the room for anything fancier lol.
Finally. My studio is now complete. Now I can start recording again.

I have found some more information on this CPTK, the japbros probably already knew but uhh:
1. They're just skids
2. Most of them are like kids (literal 11-14 year olds)
3. They have done many raids in the past, they DDoS'd 2chan back in 2022 and they've taken legal action against them
4. Their old group imploded due to infighting
5. According to the Karasawa Wiki (yeah that lawyer who got doxxed like 100 times for being a 2chan troll), their leaders have been doxxed, ***MULTIPLE*** times. And they're all kids. (📎1)

someone on a Japanese hacker forum decided it was a good idea to spam the entire Fediverse because they wanted to cancel a minor that DDoSed a Discord bot which apparently made them lost millions (what?)
A **Discord bot.** I can't make this shit up man.
The real culprit seems to be someone who goes by `mumei` in the ctkpaarr.org forums, whose first post was literally a threat to ap12, that if they don't delete their "Kuroneko Server" Discord bot, they will spam every blog, forum and SNS and cancel him.
This shit is ridiculous.
The `ap12` account from mastodon-japan was actually fake, and this dude impersonated a minor to get all of the Fediverse (us) to bully him.

@amiloradovsky oh well when you put it like that it makes sense. I was seeing it from a historical view wherein X.0 is an era with defining things that were birthed, peaked and closed down. So in my view Web1.0 would be arpanet, unix, pdp computers, time sharing and gameline and 1.0 would end with the birth of usenet and rise of bbs'. Then that era ended with eternal september and so on.
And then according to them Web1.0 was the 80s to 2004, as if THAT is somehow one era. Yeah the internet barely changed from 1980s to 2004. Tf.
And it ignores arpanet and the earliest networks.
The whole designation of Web2.0 is idiotic. It lumps everything from Flash, geocities, static sites, basic html with drm, JavaScript takeover, webapps and Chromium into the same era. Yet another thing Tim-Berners Lee is wrong about.
@newt Figures. Much as Ive been enjoying the Fediverse there are some crazy/lazy mfs here copying shit. I remember I found some link depicting whos blocking who and found plenty servers just blocking all pleroma instances for w/e reason.
