I think that, most of the time, it is good enough to simply be acknowledged.

I like to watch old historical stuff with people who are long gone. Just to remind myself I'm just a "blip" on the timeline of history and nothing I do or say, or don't do or say will ever really matter that much.
There are some good people here. One of my favorites is Just Annie

Emotional detachment is about neutral acceptance, not apathy.

You don’t have to stop caring about people. You can care about how they feel, without worrying about how they feel about you.

I'm thinking about writing an article on the www.HighProbabilitySelling.blog where I will go more deeply into this. Let me know if you want to see something like that.

You don't have to be defensive in order to protect yourself.
Is anyone else having troubles with their WordPress websites hosted on GoDaddy?

What if you used the word "could" whenever you would normally use the word "should"?

What would that be like?

I try not to "should" upon myself (or on anyone else). Wish it were easier.
When we think we have an idea -
what if it's the idea that has us instead?

I tend to attack misinformation rather aggressively. In my mind, I am only attacking the idea, and not the person who happens to be holding onto it.

However, I have to remind myself that some people are emotionally attached to the ideas that hold them, and may feel harmed or at least threatened by me.

I'm working on it.
