I (19M) am a Christian. She (22F) is agnostic. She is suicidal at times and I told her she would rot in hell if she took her own life. She got mad that I said that and that I would think that, and said that it wasn’t something to say to a suicidal person. She also said that suicidal people don’t belong in hell and they needed a way to escape, although suicide isn’t the answer. I told her that God created us for a reason; to throw away His creation is a sin.

I (19M) call my American girlfriend (22F) long-distance. However, I’m autistic and very nervous when I call. I tend to be very dry and only say one word or one thing, and I don’t know how to properly respond when my girlfriend gets anxiety attacks over call and she has to leave from being overstimulated. I just say “oh okay” because I don’t know what to say.

She left the call because of me. She said she wasn’t feeling well, so I just said “K. Sorry that happened” and I laughed. Sometimes she would say something, I wouldn’t respond, and I would say “Yeah I heard you” She started crying and saying she was upset so I laughed uncomfortably and said “Wow” and she left the call. Am I a bad partner? I know I was wrong but did I hurt her feelings?? Or was she upset from something else?

I’m French. I grew up with my parents’ English since age 5, American English. People often assume I myself live in America and grew up there. I do have citizenship there but I don’t really want to go due to recent political stuff. 😓 I am a bi transmasc as well so I’m scared.
