1finekittyBuilding an outdoor insulated cat shelter is easy & inexpensive. You need a storage container, a styrofoam box, & some straw. The storage container protects the styrofoam. The styrofoam provides insulation. The straw (not hay) provides comfort & gives off minimal heat through decomposition. Put lids on both. Adding a weigh to the top will stabilize the shelter in wind & help keep predators from getting in. Could save a cat.
