Apparently Instagram accidentally put Threads on the playstore. Looks like Twitter may be facing heavy competition, but only because of incompetent leadership.
In any case, I'll go where everyone else goes. Whether that's here, Threads, or some other site.
LOL this is not how you deal with "data scraping," this is how you deal with a catastrophic loss of system capacity.
You limit data scraping by blocking things a human user couldn't do, like access a thousand posts a minute. This is aimed directly at reducing normal activity across the whole system.
Not sure how things will turn out. Even if Elon removes Twitter limits, the incompetence he's displayed has really cemented that he can't be entrusted with large responsibilities.
Seriously rate limits????
