@metin Yes, this is a possible workflow.
But Iโm not sure if pros would take the same time to choose the right medium from the start.
Iโd sketch and colorize first, show it to the client, then do the 3D work โ the classic way. Krita AI helps to clean up the 2D sketch for a polished result. This saves time. Iโd sculpt the final mesh by hand for a smoother workflow and to avoid dead ends.
These tools are still โimpressiveโ toys.
But still impressive. I guess we wonโt have to wait long to get the result we need.
Iโm not an AI fanboy. But if it helps me bring my ideas to life faster, why not?
Donโt forget the most important rules โ some that many people seem to forget these days:
"It's not the tool, it's the artist. It's not the tool, it's the idea."
Everyone knows how to write or how to use a pencil. So why doesnโt everyone write epic stories or create unique artworks? Think about it. ๐
Before you get euphoric or "jump" out of the window: The mesh is NOT lowpoly. It will be remeshed to millions of useless tris. I don't understand, why they do it. Professional artists are interested in lowpoly meshes if characters are needed, not high poly vertex mud...
Another shot:
Holy sh... tried the hitem3d AI 3d generation tool, today by using one of my old 2D works. Crazy result.
