I haven't posted on here in a while! Mentally & emotionally, I've been kind of all over the place recently.
And let's just say that last night's election results have me feeling even worse. I think I'm gonna order in pizza for the first time in months, just try & drown out the depression in tasty food.
Huh.
Didn't think I could do it (I'm bad at video games) but I just managed to beat #EldenRing without using summons. (Either spirit ashes or NPC summons. No multiplayer either, since I don't do that.)
Only got up to Messmer in the DLC this way, and probably won't make it any farther, but the main game? Finito!!!
Just for fun, I have another character on the go where I'm doing a "pacifist run" and ONLY using summons to deal damage. (No direct damage from me whatsoever.)
@lamarjackson2 Yeah, it's not a great situation, but whatevs. We've known for a couple months that our offices were closing & we'd be out of a job - but we were supposed to have 2 or 3 more weeks.
Gonna use the month's severance to take it easy, though, and wait to look for a job until later.
Welp. My job ended a couple of weeks earlier than expected, so I'm officially now unemployed.
Plenty of time for catching up on TV & video games now, I suppose.

Yeah, exciting and a gigantic pain in the buttocks...
I've still been coming on here most days, but haven't been posting. Been busy!
I'm moving apartments tomorrow & it's been frantic trying to get everything done (there's always way more than I think there is) in time.
Plus, I found out that the office I work in will be closing soon (next couple of months) so I'll have to look for another job. I'm not super-duper worried (I have enough money to carry me for a few months) but it IS something I'm gonna have to start putting some effort into soon.
