We’re excited to announce an opportunity for library students and new researchers - our free 6-week Summer Research Accelerator Program!

CAPAL LIS Research Accelerator

Thank you for your interest in our first Research Accelerator Program. Priority for this program is reserved for CAPAL members. We're limited to 30 participants. If you sign up, you are expected to attend at least 5 out of 6, 1.5 hour (90 minute) sessions and participate in the activities during the sessions. The program is online and synchronous, at 1 pm / 13h EDT, each Wednesday from July 9 to August 13, 2025. Being a CAPAL member and participating in least 5 of the 6 sessions is the requirement to receive a CAPAL certificate of participation. Sessions will not be recorded. At what time? 10 am in PDT 11 am in MDT 11 am in CST (Saskatchewan) 12 pm in CDT (Manitoba) 1 pm / 13h EDT 2 pm ADT Since space is limited, we appreciate your commitment in attending all sessions. The application deadline is Friday, May 2, 2025. There is no fee to attend the Research Accelerator program. We have received ethics approval to study the outcomes of this series. Please see the following page for more details. Participation in the research study is not required to participate in the program or receive the certificate of completion.
