need help refreshing federation for instance that had bad base url - Lemmy.World

Hi. I got an instance running that had a bad base url in my config file. I attempted federation then migrated the instance to another server, fixed the issue and got the instance running. I think I got blacklisted or disallowed. > 2025-06-13T11:21:17.510892Z INFO lemmy_federate: Federating to 4/47 instances (0 dead, 43 disallowed) Was wondering if an admin could contact me to see about possible refreshing federation to my instance okaythen.lol I double-checked and both inbox and sharedInbox are configured properly. Thank you

Seems like the domain problem is the main issue. 43 instances disallowed, lol.

How do I fix that?

Still getting Subscribe Pending trying to federate new instance

Still getting Subscribe Pending trying to federate new instance - Lemmy.World

I’ve got my own instance running and I want to federate with some instances and communities but I’m getting a Subscribe Pending error. I read everything I could find on this error but the fix on github from like a year or two ago didn’t work. For context, I got the instance running on server A, then tried to federate with a few communities. Then I moved the instance to server B, which was more stable, and then tried to federate again. The domain is the same just literally rsynced the files to another server and got the container up. I’m ready to commit to Lemmy full time and leave reddit. Any ideas? What am I doing wrong? I’m running 0.19.11 for context, with caddy as my reverse proxy.

Having trouble with my caddy congif for my lemmy instance

Having trouble with my caddy config for my lemmy instance - Lemmy.World

I have a lemmy instance running but I’m having trouble with my reverse proxy config. I’m using Caddy. Previously I had used nginx but didn’t end up keeping the instance alive. Now I want to get it back up but I’ve since switched to Caddy because it’s just easier. I have several self hosted services already working great with caddy and don’t want to disrupt that. I’ve found a few configs online but none seem to work. I’m running this on a standard ubuntu server 22.04 box. Any ideas or suggestions?
