In 1997 we attempted to drive to Denver for Phish, broke down in Junction City, KS, took a Greyhound bus the rest of the way, missed the first show, but caught the second and ended up accidentally “homeless” before catching a bus back to St. Louis.
For many years, the Ghost from 11/17/97 was my most listened to Phish jam.

Catching Papadosio tonight. I don’t know if the sound sucks in this room or their sound guy sucks, but this is the muddiest I’ve heard a band in a long time.
I’m having this mid-40’s return to jambands. I’ve never really left, but I had my few favorites and I rarely sampled new bands.
I’ve seen so many jambands over the past three months. So many! Just tonight I saw SunSquabi (it was fun, but not life changing). On Friday I’m going to see Papadosio. It’s like I’m 22 again.
I love music.
Does anyone remember Lake Trout?
Seeing lespecial last night really reminded me of Lake Trout. I fucking loved that band.
I would fly just about anywhere in the continental US to see a Lake Trout reunion show.
