Past life: various software stuff, then vulnerability researcher at azimuth; then environmental(sustainability) technology, now ???

A long time ago I did a lot of open source android and low level systems programming.

Now I use social media to post mostly about my frustration of inaction on climate change.

Last time I killed a bug it took 1.5 months to even get a response. whole process took 5 months. and I think I almost made minimum wage reporting it after the cost of them getting me to buy new phones at my own expense to validate the suffix and the amount of time I spent with emails.
I am taking a position of ethics of bugs here or anything, I am just saying bug bounty vendors need to be better at this.
“Submit your bugs asap to protect the users pls, but please also submit a full exploit within a few weeks (we’re keeping it vague) or the payout will be max 15k if you don’t include a fully working kernel exploit and 250k is off the table”
