“better” is definitely subjective. I use an iPod touch that I leave plugged in my car that I have 17k songs on. It’s so nice to just have something that always resumes where I left off and just works. No subscriptions, no data. I can go on long road trips and not worry about spotty coverage. And best of all, I actually own all the media that’s on it. And my phone texts don’t keep interrupting my music all the tiime
But good luck finding any TV for 300 bucks in 2000. TVs were expensive back then.
Serious question. I have been using the free version of plex for years and been happy with it. I have no desire for remote access and I never consume media on my phone. I just use it to watch TV shows and movies in my living room. I don’t want anything more from it so I’m fine with the free version. Is there anything else I’m missing out on my not using jellyfin? I’ve considered it but to me it doesn’t seem to be worth the effort to switch if I’m happy with the free Plex. But I’m willing to have my mind changed
Well certainly no one here asked for your reaction

Just think about how many extra streaming services I can pay for now!
It’s weird that you turn into a sink before bed
WE’RE GONNA TEST THAT!
You’re assuming his pay would remain the same and zero investing for the next 40 years. It would take less than 10 if he invested right and saw pay increases
I live 5 minutes from a friendlys and 15 minutes from another. They’re still out there
