@idoubtit I've eaten both rattlesnake and water moccasin. The rattlesnake tasted surprisingly good, the water moccasin was muddy tasting.

I just finished watching S2E9 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. If someone told me they had slipped some LSD in my drink I'd be temped to believe them. It was absolutely great but what was that? I still don't know what to think, waiting to buy the album. #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds

Answer: society doesn't want or need police departments to do a huge swath of things they're currently tasked with doing.
Downsize or disband divisions related to traffic enforcement, vice, and response to medical/mental crisis incidents. Remove police from schools. We could start there.
Maybe focus on bank robbers or rapists for a while.
