There's nothing like that feeling of an early morning panic of seeing blood in your urine, followed a few moments later by remembering that bag of beetroot crisps you ate last night. 😜

There is something rather comforting about those moments of ambient sensations that connect you throughout your life. Today I could feel that lovely warmth you get from the sunshine on an otherwise cool day, enveloping my body with a thermal hug. The clouds were lovely child drawing-like cotton wool textured blobs in a clear blue sky. The distant sound of vague human traffic is overcome with a variety of birdsong. This could have been a moment 50 years or 30 years ago... or today.

A nice walk this morning through Felmersham Gravel Pits nature reserve. The waterfowl have returned despite the thin layer of ice still present over most of the surface of the water.

I am dog sitting this evening, which seems to involve the dog sitting on me in order to get a better view of the TV. #dog #DogsOnMastsdon
