This year, I'll be publishing my 10th annual iOS review.

It's crazy to think I've been doing this for so long, and I'm not tired at all.

In fact, this will be the most different my review has looked and felt in years.

I can't wait to show you all.

haven’t used it in a year so it just reads as unbelievably passive aggressive
@christianselig I use this one with Home Assistant connected via a Zigbee antenna, and it’s been extremely reliable.

@viticci With the lack of attention they give it in their keynotes, and marketing, there’s a solid case to be made that Apple doesn’t see Shortcuts as something worth investing much time into anymore.

Totally unrelated, but is that a custom icon you’re using for Obsidian?

@snazzyq what are you looking for in a potential replacement?
@viticci Does that apply for the iPad keyboard when it’s in its miniaturized, floating mode as well?
@mimestream Amazing improvements as always. Are there any current plans to bring Mimestream to iOS and iPadOS?

@ChrisLawley have looked into this before as well, and it’s something that can only be accomplished either by

1) remapping keys using keyboard maestro or keyboard karabiner or
2) building and deploying an advanced configuration for your board using QMK toolbox.

"Reddit represents one of the largest data sets of just human beings talking about interesting things," Huffman said. "We are not in the business of giving that away for free."

You and me, we're just data sets. Years of interaction with fellow human beings, building community, sharing insight and creativity…it’s all just data. Data to be mined and monetized.

Huffman's not mad Reddit was scraped for a chatbot. He's mad he wasn't paid for the privilege. It's his data, you see. His. Not yours.

@alexeheath Honestly surprised they’re embracing it so hard from day one. The way Meta talked about creators having the capability to bring their audience with them reminds me a lot of Substack’s business model. Curious to see how it all looks in practice.
