P.S. Fun fact: Darwin never used the phrase "survival of the fittest." It was coined by reactionary writer Herbert Spencer - not to "sum up Darwin's thinking" (as the Slate article claims) but to twist it to justify a starve-the-poor, good-riddance-to-the-inferior-races agenda.
@CatherineRussell2 it may be the application you are using rather than Mastodon itself. Not to be that techie but you might try deleting the app, fully powering off your phone, then turning it back on and reinstalling. That will require that you remember your mastodon password.
