Dear god, Hoover was a monster and a criminal. He is known in particular for how unprincipled he was. From casually violating human rights at a national scale to targeting civil rights leaders, to blackmail and terrorism, he established the playbook that modern totalitarians like Trump continue to abuse today.

Using Hoover and Biden in the same breath, let alone calling a monster like Hoover “principled” is beyond the pale.

The Constitution has been rendered impotent over the last 100 years. Today, it is little more than a historical artifact rather than the legitimate law of the land.

Another part of it is that if they discontinue support, they can’t stop the community from creating their own server software.

There are so many ways to approach this. The point is ensuring consumers retain the right to keep using what they purchased, even if they have to support it themselves.
