Hyper-focused on drawing birds in my free time lately. Here’s my latest two - a female Northern Cardinal and Western Meadowlark. #birds #illustration #procreate #songbirds #ArtOfMastodon
There is no life without failure. It is a certainty that people will fail and then fail again. These failures may open that place in us where we have nothing to brag about but everything to be loved for. It is becoming a child again, a child who is loved simply for being, simply for smiling, simply for reaching out. 🖖

@karoli Thanks for this coverage. Naomi Biden is a private citizen who got married at her grandfather’s residence, which happens to be federal property. Her grandparents paid for her wedding, a normal thing for grandparents to do. Taxpayers didn’t pay. The press has no need to cover it just because her grandfather is the president. He’s allowed to attend a family event without us being in his business, and her father is also allowed to attend family events. I read a lot of political coverage every day, and Naomi Biden getting married isn’t political. It’s a feature. Robin Givhan can write about her dress or what the guests wore if she gets that opportunity. (I enjoy reading the Style section of the Post too. But that’s enjoyment and not need-to-know.)

Naomi Biden can also choose to do a feature in Vogue. Private citizens do that too.

Since I’m not on the bird site, I only see tweets embedded in articles like that.. All I can say to Parker and the rest (not Schultz or Froomkin):
