To anyone needing a little extra hope today, here is a haiku from the last pages of Prison Memoirs of a Japanese Woman by Fumeko Kaneko, a Japanese anarchist who was sentenced to death for attempting to kill the Emperor of Japan in 1923.

It has been translated from japanese so may not seem to be a haiku in english
