One of my favorite features of Mastodon is giving someone a timeout. You know how sometimes someone you follow is having a bad day/week and starts boosting or posting stuff that you don’t feel like seeing? It’s not offensive enough to make you want to unfollow them, just stuff you aren’t in the mood for.
On Mastodon, you can mute them temporarily and set how long until you start seeing their posts again.
