@mmpadellan It’s the Fediverse here. No matter what server you are on, and it can be your own server, you can connect with anyone. I use Metatext app on my iPhone to log in and it’s very much like being on Twitter. I worried about that too. No matter where anyone is, if they are in the Fediverse, they will come up seamlessly and you don’t even know they’re on a different server. That confused the hell out of me at first.
