The unemployment rate fell a tick to 3.4%, the lowest level in half a century (equal with Jan 2023, and May 1969).
It's stunning to me that we hear so much gloom and doom when unemployment is at a 54-year low.

The revisions might be the interesting bit. They're strongly negative: Feb was revised down -78k, and March was revised down -71k.
Leaves the past three months incredibly stable and strong:
Feb +248k
March +165k
April +253k
Average rate of growth is a healthy +225k.
