@siracusa @atpfm I'm surprised you had an entire conversation about the redesign of the Apple mouse without mentioning the other handheld Apple device that was recently redesigned: the Apple TV remote.
- It fixed the glaring issues
- it stayed non-ergonomic
- it had clever modifications
- people loved the changes
I think we will have a similar approach with the new mouse

@caseynewton heard you on Hard Fork discussing google and ChatGPT with Kevin (side note: do you guys only interview people when one of them is named Kevin?). It occurred to me that google is today’s xerox, inventing the GUI before everyone else in its Labs but kept it shelved because it doesn’t help its business model. Then Apple ate their lunch and, as we all know, the rest is history.
