@riskybiz RE: Nadella’s compensation, I see the take it’s performative but I think it’s directed as much or more internal to Microsoft with external optics being secondary. If Microsoft is going to tie security issues to executive pay as they’ve said, that move by Nadella sets a clear tone from the top. It’d be an extremely hard sell internally if he didn’t.

Oh, right! Airlines in the US are, starting today, meant to simply refund your fucking ticket price if certain cancellation conditions apply. No more vouchers and credits, no more forms and bureaucratic folderol; the company just gives back your money as they always should have done.

Of course it's being fucking contested in the courts, but I'm still damned proud of the Federal Trade Commission for setting the rule.

@CelloMomOnCars Bernie perfectly demonstrates Realpolitiks in action. In an ideal world, everyone should be able to follow, demonstrate, and stand by their principles in everything. And then there's reality.

Biden/Harris stance on Gaza is deplorable; its still better than Trump's and at least there's a chance of using leverage in the house, senate to influence. No so with Trump.

Voting Stein, or refusing your ballot out of protest for Gaza accomplishes less than nothing here.
