Domestic violence is insanely widespread here and LGBTQ rights are not guaranteed, the country is currently moving down the path towards genocide of trans people. Do the thousands of addicts dying on the streets in my city have it easy? Or do they just deserve it?

The poor in the USA are also miserable and there's a lot to say about "privilege" if you can't recognize that millions of people living on the edge of destitution in the richest country in the world aren't lucky. Are the two million prisoners in the US privileged? Maybe class society causes suffering everywhere on the planet and it is insufferable to dismiss the poor in one country because others elsewhere have it worse

@peaceful the police exist to enforce class structure and will exist as long as one economic class dominates another and will continue to receive more and more funding as the divide between the classes grows with raising inequality. This is an essential part of the state that preserves the dominance of the current ruling class. The goal of the socialist project is the overturning of the current class structure of capitalist dominance, which has never been done through appeasement
