Back in the ER cos I was in the kitchen with a knife to my arm last night and it scared me enough to call 911 on myself.
Waiting to see if they're going to put me inpatient anywhere. I tried coping with painting before the cutting (very superficial... just scratches but i was scared i would do more) but nothing was helping...
I wouldn't use the word "glorious" to describe any era since the Europeans set foot on Turtle (& Duck) Island but before my annoying ancestors & their rulers came over, I'd say there were many glorious eras and civilizations here.
It's not possible to be glorious in a culture & society literally built on inequity, slavery, injustice, death, oppression, ignorance, selfishness, myopia, & so much more.
I have always lamented being born in the USA but I'm starting to think there's a reason for it.
I'm so excited to be meeting y'all!
My tech friends told me to get on Mastodon for ages, but I was so overwhelmed by the idea of learning a new system, since I am practically tech illiterate.
Then 2025 happened, and I realized I was no longer safe on any big tech platforms or software if I continue to speak out as I have been. I was already being censored and harassed constantly. I started to fear for those close to me.
Now I'm committed to learning about digital autonomy & data sovereignty!
