Been learning embedded development for the past couple weeks. It's been simple stuff so far. Got a couple I2C screens on the way so I can start learning that.

MicroPython is phenomenal on the Raspberry Pi Pico 2 BTW. I wish I could drag and drop my files onto the Pico, but I made a deploy script so I'm not tied to any IDE, so I'll live.

So, in my quest to write my book, I have come up with some feedback for @libreoffice

Can we please get a tool or interface or something where we can see all the comments on a document simultaneously, and jump to where they are in a document?

Ctrl+Alt+PgUp/PgDown is good, but it was something I had to look up. If the tool to see all the comments and all that was right there next to the add comment button, it would be very intuitive.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Every hero needs a reason to fight. The one in my story just wants to go home, despite a solar system that demands he stand and fight.

My book is coming along well. Feel like I might need to rewrite the early bits, and not like a small edit but like a massive rewrite.

Currently 125k words. Hoping to keep it below 200k.

I didn't even know #rsync COULD clone drives over the network. Kinda proud of myself for figuring that one out.
Working on moving my @nextcloud off of #Linode and over to self-hosting. I was able to clone the drive over the internet, then flash the image to a drive along with making a swap partition and EFI partition. It boots, and connects to the internet, now to get it to play nicely with my #NGINX reverse proxy. It's in a @Docker container so this is going to be interesting.
TIL there are two Amarok apps. One for #Linux, one for android, and they are not the same app.

Writing a book on #Linux has been surprisingly easy.

I have to convert it to DOCX format sometimes, but that's the only issue I've had.

I was even able to get the @libreoffice flatpak working on my @PINE64 PineTab 2, on #postmarketos, and backing everything up automatically to my @nextcloud so I can use my desktop and laptop too!

I always knew productivity was great on Linux but dayum is this awesome.

One of my friends and I are talking. Big companies like Walmart, target, Costco, etc should cover their roofs and parking lots with solar panels

- Add EV charging to their parking lots
- Have power even in bad storms, thanks to battery back ups
- Sell the excess power to local power companies
- Market it as a green energy initiative, to attract more customers
- Cools the parking lot for customers
- Creates new jobs due to the massive, complex solar installations
