@stevenson I see how it could be seen that way. If one shouted it from the rooftop or sought some sort of glory for it, then yes. If one does a kind thing, then moves on, then how would that be self-centered ?
@stevenson If making a mark is doing an act of service, wouldn't you want to be intentional about it?

Maybe that's what you're saying too. I would like to be remembered as an idea, that someone in the world brightened their day, lent support, gave them a hug or kind word.
