For my next DnD session I created something for my players who wanted to have an ancient tome about time travel. They called it „Arrival of the first Dwarves“ - so I created a book for them. And like all good DMs I encrypted the book a little bit :3
And before you all yell „They can just cast Comprehend Languages!“ - Yes, they may cast it. But it will only count for one language since the languages got mixed up in the middle of a sentence and it’s only readable if you really understand the languages. Or if they find some people who talk every language (which will lead them to their next quest)
Languages in the picture (if you’re interested)
German - Common, since we’re playing in German
English - Undercommon
Latin - Draconic
Runic - Dwarvish
Korean - Elvish
Japanese - Infernal
Chinese - Abyssal #DnD, #Dungeons #and #Dragons, #Puzzle
