It is always nice to start the New Year with something positive. This is a paper led by Bettina Zenz who is interested in research on Sugar Consumption and health/oral health. So much has been said about sugar consumption recently, but there are important gaps, "98% of papers use only individual-level data and recommend policy interventions targeted at individuals." This review looks at interventions to improve oral health or guarantee access and adherence to dental treatment of "dependent" older people. There isn't much evidence out there of anything that works and very few interventions studies actually use OHRQoL outcomes.
