Recently returned from a 2 month trip to Europe. Enjoyed the break from politics and social media. Ready for new social interactions so testing out the waters with this:
An entire museum floor in Lyon was dedicated to religious art. Some beautiful stuff but give me a break. One thing that piqued my curiosity: there were 3 paintings of the Circumcision of Christ.
Why was this so important and how did they think Jesus would feel about everyone viewing this personal moment?
