I also think of how ereaders can be discontinued and you’re forced to buy a brand new device or have a secondary phone/computer to get books from. What about the elderly, or what if someone simply does not have a second, internet-abled device?

A more open ereader would prevent stuff like this. You can’t shut down store access to everywhere.

Hear me out: a reading app that allows for reading ebooks purchased from *any* source, and the ability to transfer books from one app to another (fine if not on both devices at the same time), say, so long as I use the same email/phone for them or whatever.

This is totally *not* a rant about something named Kindle. 😉 I shouldn’t have to use several different reading apps because some books weren’t available on every store.

Hi, I’m new. Is there any way to turn off trigger warnings, or at least some of them? I’m getting annoyed with having to tap to reveal every photo when I’ve deliberately searched for it, such as for food.
