What I find very interesting is that my personal website (https://ascyt.com), made from simple HTML, CSS and JS, loads pretty much instantly.

And now compare that to the loading times of some of the most popular websites (average 4 seconds), that each have countless other things going on in the background.

Point is, shit loads fast if you don't have a million useless tracking and advertisement junk running on load.
